"I think the PA Chamber gives a much needed voice in Harrisburg to employers and job creators from across the Commonwealth. There are many interest groups in Harrisburg that treat businesses as the enemy. I think at the end of the day, the Chamber is among the few groups that understand that good jobs lead to good communities." -- State Rep. Matt Gabler, R-Elk/Clearfield
Investors honored at Lt. Governor’s residence

The PA Chamber expressed its appreciation for the valued support of its Investor members at a tropical-themed Investor Member Reception on Thursday, June 14. The event was held at the State House, the residence of the Lt. Governor, in Fort Indiantown Gap, and was sponsored by Teva Pharmaceuticals USA.

The "Island Tropics" reception provided an opportunity for representatives from Investor-level companies throughout the state to network in an informal setting.

Several distinguished military guests were in attendance, including Brigadier General Jerry Beck, Deputy Commander, 28th Infantry Division of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard; Colonel John Wing; and Colonel Joseph DePaul.

Music was provided by the Trinidad North Steel Band.

Kirk Liddell, PA Chamber board chairman, and Gene Barr, PA Chamber vice president, briefly addressed the group, offering their appreciation to attendees for enabling a greater advocacy effort through their support and involvement

The PA Chamber thanks Teva Pharmaceuticals for its sponsorship of the event, and The Hershey Company for its donation of a tropical-inspired product.
