PA Chamber hosts 2011 Annual HR Conference at Hershey Lodge
Information on top HR issues shared through speakers, exhibitors, workshops
The PA Chamber hosted its 2011 Annual Human Resources Conference at the Hershey Lodge in One of the Chamber’s largest educational compliance events of the year, the HR Conference serves as a prime opportunity for human resources professionals to learn the latest about new employment laws and regulations; gain knowledge about HR best practices from expert industry professionals; network with their peers; and visit with exhibitors offering an array of HR assistance and business services. In addition to workshops that covered general HR issues, standard employment law and senior level updates, this year’s conference featured presentations on a number of trending topics. Thomas Morrison, national service line leader with Deloitte Touche Consulting LLP, summarized his company’s recent survey measuring employer and employee attitudes to enhance talent management programs; while Jonathan Segal, partner with Duane Morris LLP, presented on recent HR developments and legal updates, and shared advice on avoiding the social media mistakes being made by many companies.
