Provides members first-hand insight into the administration's budget priorities directly from Cabinet officials, and gives attendees the opportunity to present questions and concerns to the Rendell administration's leading budget policy makers. Held the day after the governor unveils his budget, the event is promoted to members statewide and attended by more than 100 business leaders. On May 18, voters will choose the two candidates who will compete for the Governorship of Pennsylvania in November. Election 2010 promises to be one of the most pivotal and closely watched races in years. The Pennsylvania Chamber, in cooperation with media sponsor abc27, is proud to present a gubernatorial primary forum focusing on issues that will significantly affect the future of Pennsylvania businesses and residents alike. Candidates will address four to six critical issues, including business taxes, energy, healthcare, legal reform, transportation and education.
