As Pennsylvania businesses re-open in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, they are facing formidable challenges, including the need to hire new talent and retain their existing workforce.
The PA Chamber’s 29th Annual Economic Survey identified workforce as the private sector’s leading issue, expressing concerns over workforce quality and readiness, and citing an inability to fill vacant positions. In 2018, 14% of businesses of varying sizes and industries indicated that workforce was the “single most important issue” affecting their business. In 2019, that number jumped to 22%.
Join us as the Pennsylvania Chamber Educational Foundation partners with innovative business leaders from across the state to provide valuable insights and creative strategies that will empower businesses to overcome their workforce challenges.
