Andrew Levy, Member, McNees Wallace & Nurick, is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Group. He regularly advises employers with respect to a broad range of labor and employment compliance issues. Andrew represents employers in employment litigation in federal and state courts and in administrative agency proceedings, including employment discrimination and harassment litigation, wage and hour litigation, wrongful discharge and many other employment-related claims. He also represents employers in OSHA proceedings. Andrew’s labor practice involves representing management in collective bargaining negotiations, labor arbitrations, and in NLRB proceedings. He represents many construction contractors with respect to labor and employment issues facing the industry, including compliance with prevailing wage laws and Taft-Hartley multi-employer plan participation.
Ursula Siverling, Of Counsel, McNees Wallace & Nurick, began her legal career as a litigation associate with a local law firm after graduating from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in 2001. Later, Ursula joined Harsco Corporation where she held various positions within their Legal Department. In 2012, she moved to Human Resources and, for seven years, was the HR Director for Aluma Systems, a subsidiary of BrandSafway, where she was responsible for all HR-related matters in North America.
The U.S. Small Business Administration is a United States government agency that provides support to entrepreneurs and small businesses. They have provided interim guidance for businesses and employers and have several strategic recommendations to help small businesses.
