Description

As the Commonwealth works to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Pennsylvania Chamber is helping businesses re-open their facilities safely and jumpstart the economy through the initiative, "Bringing PA Back." This free 1 hour webinar is designed to describe the initiative and to solicit feedback from leaders across Pennsylvania’s broad-based business community regarding the specific economic, policy and resources needs in their communities.

WEBINAR HIGHLIGHTS
While the COVID-19 pandemic has been an unprecedented time in our state’s history, we must focus on the next phase: re-opening businesses and determining what bringing Pennsylvania’s economy back will look like – issues we have had ongoing conversations on with local chambers, statewide business groups and local governments. We are dedicated to restoring a sense of normalcy both in our economy and our way of life, and to move forward safely and productively, as we work with elected officials, public health experts and employers on implementing a workable process to get back to business responsibly and to Bring PA Back.

PA Chamber President and CEO Gene Barr and the team of PA Chamber experts will describe the Bringing PA Back initiative:

  • Provide employers with critical information as they prepare to re-open
  • Guidance on workplace readiness – cleaning and safety standards; employment opportunities, and more
  • Best practices from those businesses that have continued operations throughout the crisis
  • Policy recommendations that will help to revive Pennsylvania's economy
  • Open forum to get input from you—PA business leaders—on what you need to open your doors; input the PA Chamber will use as we advise elected officials on how best to proceed

The PA Chamber team:
Gene Barr, President and CEO – general business questions
Sam Denisco, Vice President of Government Affairs – upcoming bills, advocacy
Alex Halper, Director of Government Affairs – employment and labor law questions, WC, UC
Kevin Sunday, Director of Government Affairs – questions related to the energy industry, permitting/deadlines, transportation and PPE supply chains
Brian Orsinger, Chief Operating Officer, PCI Insurance – employment benefits and healthcare questions
Dee Yingst, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CEBS, Chief Human Resources and Compliance Officer – human resources questions

We look forward to hearing from you and answering your questions.
