Description

As Pennsylvania continues its phased re-opening plan for the state, businesses are doing all they can to prepare for a safe work environment, ensure the safety of their employees and determine how to operate in this new business landscape.

As part of our mission and our Bringing PA Back initiative, the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry is committed to helping businesses come back stronger than ever. We are offering this free webinar to explain what “green” means as businesses re-open their doors.

PA Chamber President and CEO Gene Barr will lead a discussion with top state agency officials from the Department of Community and Economic Development to explain what “green” means for business including the safety precautions that are still required under “green.” We then will cover some of the legal implications for businesses as they open their doors and welcome back employees and customers.

Speakers:

  • Dennis Davin, Secretary, Department of Community and Economic Development
  • Neil Weaver, Executive Deputy Secretary, Department of Community and Economic Development
  • Denise Brinley, Executive Director, Office of Energy
  • Schaun Henry, Partner, McNees Wallace & Nurick

We will discuss:

  • Latest guidelines from the state and CDC
  • Explanation of “green” guidelines with a review of the safety precautions businesses must take as they reopen their doors, as well as the do’s and don’ts in re-opening
  • What restrictions may still be in place for work and social settings
  • Legal implications in re-opening businesses with an explanation of what to do
