HARRISBURG - PEG PAC, a pro-business political action committee under the PA Chamber, is pleased to announce that national political reporter Salena Zito will be the keynote speaker at the 2018 State of Politics Dinner – formerly known as the PEG PAC Dinner. A Pittsburgh native, Zito boasts a more than two decade-long career in journalism and has interviewed every U.S. president and vice president since 1992, as well as numerous other policy leaders in Washington, D.C. She worked for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review for 11 years and is currently a reporter for the Washington Examiner and columnist for the New York Post; a CNN contributor; the host of “Main Street” on the SIRUS XM POTUS Channel; and co-author of the new book “The Great Revolt: Inside the Populist Coalition Reshaping American Politics.”
“Salena Zito has enjoyed a dynamic, interesting career in journalism and over that time has had a front-row seat to many of the leading moments in modern American political history,” PA Chamber President Gene Barr said. “We look forward to welcoming her to the 2018 State of Politics Dinner and hearing about what she’s learned during her extensive travels across the country, as well as her perspectives on the nation’s changing political landscape.”
The dinner will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, at the Harrisburg Hilton in Harrisburg, PA.
