HARRISBURG - Ahead of the 2018 General Election, the PA Chamber of Business and Industry today unveiled its 2017-18 Legislative Scorecard. This new publication, which is available online, highlights elected officials’ voting percentages on several business-centric public policies over the course of the two-year session.
“The General Election is just days away, and voters should take the time to make sure they’re informed before heading to the polls,” said PA Chamber President and CEO Gene Barr. “In our role as Pennsylvania’s largest business advocacy organization, we carefully track each vote that impacts the state’s broad-based business community. Our Legislative Scorecard presents a quick and easy way for voters to determine how their elected state representatives and senators voted on key legislation of importance to the business community this session. I encourage all Pennsylvanians – especially the Commonwealth’s job creators – to find out where their elected officials stood on these important issues before casting their vote this coming Tuesday.”
Another useful tool for voters leading up to Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 6 is a comprehensive voter resource page that is now available on the PA Chamber’s website. The page includes the list of ChamberPAC’s state endorsements and the U.S. Chamber’s federal endorsements; as well as links for voters to locate their polling place and to determine who their elected officials are at both the state and federal level.
