HARRISBURG - ChamberPAC, the political arm of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, today announced its endorsement of Republican David Arnold for state senator of the 48th Senate District. The Special Election for the senate seat will take place on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. The 48th Senatorial District consists of Lebanon and parts of York and Dauphin Counties.
“David understands the challenges facing the Commonwealth’s business community and recognizes the important role of employers in increasing economic opportunity and prosperity for residents across the state,” PA Chamber President Gene Barr said. “He will be a champion for pro-business policies that help lay the groundwork for a trained, skilled workforce and ensure private sector growth.”
A lifelong resident of Lebanon County, Arnold has served as the county’s District Attorney since 2006. He currently serves on the Board of the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association, having previously led the organization as president from 2015-2017. Arnold is also the chairman of the Lebanon County Criminal Justice Advisory Board and is an appointed member of the Pennsylvania Sentencing Commission.
