HARRISBURG - The PA Chamber Educational Foundation and the Pennsylvania Bankers Association (PA Bankers) are again joining forces to present the Eighth Annual Economic Forecast and Business Leadership Summit on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey.
This year’s program will provide an overview of the economic opportunities and challenges currently facing Pennsylvania and the nation, with an additional focus on cultivating a positive workplace culture for employees and clients; as well as the threat U.S. businesses face from China’s technology acquisition efforts.
“We’re pleased to once again partner with the PA Bankers Association to present a dynamic program that will provide keen insight into upcoming economic trends that will better help Pennsylvania businesses prepare for the future,” said PA Chamber President and CEO Gene Barr. “In addition to delving into the Commonwealth’s fiscal health and what’s on the horizon, this year’s summit will focus on the important role workplace culture plays in a company’s overall success, as well as looming threats from international competitors.”
The summit’s agenda kicks off with a Pennsylvania legislative update from Senate Appropriations Chairman Pat Browne, R-Lehigh; followed by a state and federal economic forecast by PNC Financial Services Group Senior Vice President Stuart Hoffman. The program will also feature a presentation by Dee Ann Turner, former vice president of talent for Chick-fil-A, Inc. on the impact of extraordinary talent and creating a compelling workforce culture. The summit will conclude with a keynote address by National Counterintelligence and Security Center Assistant Director Joseph Morosco on the impact of China’s technology acquisition efforts on the U.S. economy.
“With a combination of dynamic speakers and industry hot topics, the Economic Forecast and Business Leadership Summit provides an opportunity for financial institutions and businesses from all sectors to learn the latest trends in leadership and an understanding of the current economic landscape,” said Duncan Campbell, PA Bankers’ president and CEO. “Through this summit, industry leaders will gain the tools needed to continually provide service to their customers and support their local communities and economies.”
RKL will serve as the Economic Forecast Summit’s Exclusive Diamond Sponsor for the eighth consecutive year.
