ChamberPAC Announces 2021 Statewide Appellate Court Endorsements

HARRISBURG - ChamberPAC, the political arm of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, today announced four endorsements for Pennsylvania statewide appellate courts.  The endorsed candidates include Judge Kevin Brobson for Supreme Court, Megan Sullivan for Superior Court, and Judge Drew Crompton and Stacy Wallace for Commonwealth Court.

 

"ChamberPAC makes endorsements for individuals seeking public judicial office carefully since we know the important role they play in ensuring justice for all citizens of the Commonwealth," said Gene Barr, President and CEO of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, "It is with great pride that we recommend voters support these four candidates who have all shown a strong dedication to the impartial application of law and a deep knowledge of the issues facing Pennsylvania's business community."

 

Supreme Court – Judge Kevin Brobson

Judge Brobson has served as a judge on the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania since 2010.  In 2020, he was elected by his colleagues on the court to serve as the 10th President Judge of the Commonwealth Court.  A lifelong resident of Pennsylvania, Brobson previously practiced law in the private sector – specializing in commercial litigation and administrative law.

 

Superior Court – Megan Sullivan

Megan Sullivan is a veteran litigator with twenty years of legal experience as a criminal prosecutor and civil attorney.  She served as a Deputy Attorney General in the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General from 2017 until this year, when she began her run for the Superior Court.  Megan also worked for a decade as an Assistant DA, Supervisory DA, an assistant general counsel to West Chester University, and spent several years in private practice.

 

Commonwealth Court – Judge Drew Crompton

Judge Crompton has served as a judge on the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania for the past 18 months. During his tenure, he has drafted over 100 well-reasoned opinions on a wide variety of issues. Before his judicial service, Judge Crompton served as a lawyer in the Pennsylvania State Senate, concluding his 25 years as General Counsel. Judge Crompton lives in central Pennsylvania with his wife and two daughters (and two dogs).

 

Commonwealth Court – Stacy Wallace

In her nearly 17 years as an attorney, Stacy has practiced in various legal areas, including election, municipal, and regulatory law. Stacy has been a Pennsylvania resident her entire life and currently resides in the Northwestern PA town of Bradford, where she founded her own law practice, Stacy Wallace Law LLC, in 2012 and serves as president of the McKean County Bar Association.
