Neal Lesher serves as Vice President of Government Affairs and leads the PA Chamber’s advocacy on state and local tax policy, healthcare, legal liability reform, and economic development. Prior to joining the PA Chamber, Lesher served in senior leadership positions with the state House of Representatives, including serving as Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the House and as the Director of Policy and Communications for the Appropriations Committee Chairman. He also has executive branch experience, serving as the Legislative Director for the Governor’s Budget Office under the Corbett Administration. Lesher serves on the Health Care Cost Containment Council and on the Board of Directors for the Foundation for Free Enterprise Education. A central Pennsylvania native, he graduated from Susquehanna University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
