HARRISBURG – ChamberPAC, the bipartisan political action committee of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, today announced its endorsement of Andrea Verobish in the special election for the 79th Legislative District. The special election will be held Tuesday, March 17.
ChamberPAC supports candidates who support pro-growth, pro-jobs policies and who understand the role a competitive business climate plays in strengthening Pennsylvania’s economy.
“Andrea Verobish brings valuable experience at the local, state and federal levels, along with a strong understanding of the issues facing employers in her district,” PA Chamber President and CEO Luke Bernstein said. “We believe she will be ready to serve on day one and will be a strong voice for policies that support economic growth and job creation.”
Verobish most recently served as field representative and economic development specialist for Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson. Her background includes service as Main Street manager for Hollidaysburg and as a legislative aide to former state Sen. John H. Eichelberger Jr. With more than 20 years of public service experience, Verobish possesses firsthand knowledge of the legislative process and a clear understanding of the needs of local businesses and job creators.
