You’ll hear from keynote speaker, PA State Senator Ryan Aument, Majority Caucus Secretary. A legislative update by the PA Chamber’s Government Affairs staff will immediately follow Senator Aument’s presentation.

Ryan Aument

Senator, Pennsylvania’s 36th District

 

Raised in the ideals of his Pennsylvania home and tested on the field of combat defending his nation, Ryan Aument is committed to ensuring a prosperous and economically competitive Commonwealth for all.

A lifelong resident of Lancaster County, Senator Aument received his bachelor’s degree in Education from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. He served as a U.S. Army captain in Operation Iraqi Freedom, briefly commanding an infantry company of 150 soldiers after the company commander was wounded in combat. Throughout his military service, he earned the Bronze Star Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, and the Army Parachutist Badge.

Senator Aument lives in West Hempfield, Lancaster County, with his wife, Kate, a teacher at Mt. Calvary Christian School, and their two children, Jack and June.

Sam Denisco

Vice President of Government Affairs, PA Chamber

 

Sam serves as the vice president of Government Affairs for the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry. As vice president, Denisco oversees the PA Chamber’s lobbying, political, grassroots and communications operations. He specializes in the public policy areas of health care, tort, and taxation.

Alex Halper

Director of Government Affairs, PA Chamber

 

Alex serves as a lobbyist for issues including labor/employment policy, education, workforce development, local tax policy, international trade, and immigration.

Kevin Sunday

Director of Government Affairs, PA Chamber

 

Kevin serves as a lobbyist for energy and environmental legislative and regulatory issues, including matters relating to air, waste, water, land use, natural resources, power generation, transportation, and transmission.

Alison Coccia

Director of Political Engagement, PA Chamber

 

Alison is responsible for the management of ChamberPAC, the political arm of the PA Chamber. Additionally, she coordinates all Government Affairs events.
