ChamberPAC Endorses Katie Ford for 163rd House District Special Election
ChamberPAC, the political arm of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, today announced its endorsement of Republican candidate Katie Ford for the upcoming Special Election in Pennsylvania’s 163rd House District, comprising part of Delaware County. The Special Election is scheduled for Tuesday, May 16, 2023, coinciding with the Primary Election, to fill the seat that was recently vacated following the resignation of former state Rep. Mike Zabel, D-Delaware.
“ChamberPAC is proud to endorse Kate Ford for the state House. We believe that her background in special education, deep commitment to serving her community, and knowledge of the issues facing the Commonwealth’s business community, will make her a strong pro-business voice in the State Capitol. And, as an U.S. Army Veteran, we thank her for her service to our country,” PA Chamber President and CEO Luke Bernstein wrote in a letter announcing Ford’s endorsement.
“On behalf of the PA Chamber’s broad-based membership, we believe that voters in the 163rd House District would be well served to have Katie Ford represent them in the state House. We urge voters to support Katie Ford in the Special Election on May 16,” the letter states.
