ChamberPAC Endorses Jeffrey Olsommer in HD-139 Special Election

HARRISBURG – ChamberPAC, the bipartisan political arm of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, today announced its endorsement of Republican candidate Jeffrey Olsommer in the upcoming special election to fill the vacant seat representing Pennsylvania’s 139th House District. The special election will coincide with the state’s primary election next Tuesday, April 23.

“Jeffrey has demonstrated a deep dedication to public service and a commitment to fight for employers and working families,” said PA Chamber President and CEO Luke Bernstein. “He will be a strong voice in Harrisburg for policies that will help grow the Commonwealth’s economy and foster job creation. On behalf of ChamberPAC and the state’s broad-based business community, I encourage residents of the 139th District to vote for Jeffrey Olsommer in the upcoming election.”

Olsommer, a longtime small business owner, is Chairman of the Sterling Township Board of Supervisors and serves as a director on the board of the Wayne Memorial Health Foundation. Olsommer formerly served as a director on the boards of  the Western Wayne Education Foundation, the Wayne Economic Development Corporation, and the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, and as President of Southern Wayne Regional Chamber of Commerce, now known as the Chamber of the Northern Poconos.

The 139th state House District includes parts of Wayne and Pike Counties. The seat was vacated by the retirement of then-Rep. Joe Adams.
