After three and a half weeks of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry’s bracket-style contest where voters made their voices heard over Instagram and X for their seasonal Pennsylvania favorites, Musselman’s Apple Cider earned the title of “Best of Fall” for the second year in a row.
Musselman’s, a company within Knouse Foods Cooperative, Inc., is part of a grower-owned cooperative made up of over 100 Pennsylvania farming families. Since 1907, those families have nurtured 15,000 acres of fruit orchards to produce apple products – including the “Best of Fall”-winning cider – that can be purchased by customers both in grocery stores and online.
Musselman’s won in a championship round face-off with the trick-or-treat favorite, the Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkin. The “Best of Fall” contest garnered thousands of votes across X and Instagram, with more than 70,000 impressions on both social media platforms.
“Congratulations to Musselman’s and Knouse Foods, whose hard-working apple farmers are well-deserving of this honor. Given that this is the second consecutive time that they’ve earned the title, Musselman’s Apple Cider is clearly Pennsylvania’s ‘Best of Fall’,” PA Chamber President and CEO Luke Bernstein said. “We were thrilled to hold this contest as a celebration of everything that draws people to Pennsylvania in autumn. From our beverages and beers, to the foods, treats, haunted experiences, fairs, football games, and festivals, the Commonwealth has more to offer than anywhere else. We loved spotlighting 32 of the most beloved brands and experiences that make Pennsylvania stand out during this time of year.”
“We’re pleased to learn Musselman’s Apple Cider has again been named the winner of the Pennsylvania Chamber’s “Best of Fall” contest,” said Rich DiFrischia, CEO, Knouse Foods Cooperative, Inc. “It’s a reflection of the passion, pride, and hard work our Grower-owners and employees put in every single day to make delicious and nutritious products for consumers to enjoy.”
