Survey of Business Leaders to Help Drive Solutions for Childcare and the Workforce

PA Chamber members and all Pennsylvania employers are being asked to participate in a survey that will provide insight on an issue that is central to our post-pandemic economic recovery efforts – the impact of childcare on business and the workforce. Prior to the pandemic, Pennsylvania suffered an estimated $3.46 billion annual economic loss due to breakdowns in childcare – a number that has grown exponentially since COVID-19 arrived in the Commonwealth.

The PA Chamber and the Pennsylvania Early Learning Investment Commission are committed to understanding the additional impact that COVID-19 has on business and their working families. The survey is further intended to provide insight to develop best strategies for supporting families’ childcare needs, and importantly, what resources are needed to help businesses navigate workforce childcare options.

We would be extremely grateful if you could provide 10-12 minutes of your time to complete this important survey by April 22, 2021. Your responses are instrumental in guiding regional and statewide solutions. Individual responses will be kept completely confidential.

The survey is available here. Thank you in advance for your participation!
