On a sunny day in February on the campus of East Stroudsburg University, students and educators at ESU joined representatives from AT&T and the PA Chamber to celebrate the start of an EPIC collaboration. At a press conference, they announced ESU and AT&T’s participation in the Employer Provided Innovation Challenges (EPIC) program, a first-of-its kind initiative in the Commonwealth aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and practical application, providing students with valuable skills and experiences that align with Pennsylvania’s job market needs. The program is affiliated with the U.S. Chamber Foundation’s EPIC initiative and is facilitated with the support of the PA Chamber.
What is the EPIC Program?
EPIC is an eight-week initiative where two cohorts of 10 ESU students will work in teams to address real-world challenges identified by AT&T. Over the eight weeks, the students will develop innovative solutions, culminating in presentations and a comprehensive paper to be presented to AT&T executives.
Who can get involved with EPIC?
EPIC is open to involvement from other employers this year! The program is designed to scale, be credentialed, and deliver high-impact career awareness and preparation for learners.
Why Should Small Business Owners Get Involved?
