The PA Chamber’s 2025 “Coolest Thing Made in PA” public voting kicks off this week, with 64 made-in-PA products vying for the most coveted title in Pennsylvania. Voting will begin tomorrow at Noon on on X at this link. During the last 24 hours of every voting period, each voter may cast an additional vote per round across LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.
The PA Chamber unveiled this year’s bracket last week at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course during a launch party with this year’s contestants, PA Chamber members, and staff.
Two-time reigning champion, the Primanti Bros. sandwich, has been retired to the “Coolest Thing Made in PA” Hall of Fame, clearing the way for another brand to claim the contest title! The 64 contestants feature a mix of returning competitors and newcomers crossing all industries and every region of the state.
“This year’s bracket includes an incredible mix of brands that showcase Pennsylvania’s industrial range and dominance,” Bernstein said in a press release announcing the annual March return of the contest. “We have two wrestling industry contestants – WWE Championship Belts in the West and Resilite Specialty Wrestling Mats in the Central Region. We have household brands, including Martin Guitars, Crayola Crayons, and Zippo Lighters. And who could forget the food and beverages – including PSU Creamery Ice Cream, the Sheetz MTO, Yuengling Lager, Hershey’s Kit Kat bars, Taylor Chip Cookies, and beyond. No matter what your preference, there’s something for everyone in this year’s bracket, and I can’t wait to see where the challenge goes in this third exciting year. Our state’s manufacturers make incredible products that are among the best in the world – and this competition helps highlight the cool things we make right here in Pennsylvania.”
For the first time, the “Coolest Thing Made in PA” contest has an official sponsor in the U.S. EXIM Bank. EXIM’s Deputy Managing Director, Eastern Region, Regina Gordin, attended the launch party, where she expressed pride in the success and ingenuity of the Pennsylvania businesses represented in this year’s contest.
“In collaboration with the PA Chamber of Business and Industry, EXIM is proud to support Pennsylvania’s vibrant and diverse business community, which produces some of the most innovative and sought-after products in the world,” Gordin said.
“By providing powerful financing solutions—like invoice insurance, working capital guarantees, and financing for foreign buyers—EXIM helps Pennsylvania businesses compete globally. Offering attractive credit terms enables them to close more deals, boost sales, and expand with confidence, driving growth, job creation, and the state’s economic success.”
Each year, the “Coolest Thing Made in PA” contest offers unparalleled social and earned media engagement and marketing value for participants, with more than one million social media engagements and three million broadcast TV views.
