HARRISBURG — ChamberPAC, the bipartisan political action committee of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, today announced its endorsement of Catherine Wallen in the special election for the 193rd Legislative District. The special election will be held Tuesday, March 17.
ChamberPAC supports candidates who support pro-growth, pro-jobs policies and recognize the importance of a strong business climate to communities across the Commonwealth.
“Catherine Wallen has spent years working closely with constituents and understands the challenges that job creators in Adams and Cumberland Counties face,” said PA Chamber President and CEO Luke Bernstein. “She’s also a business owner, which, alongside her public service experience, gives her a practical perspective that will make her an ideal representative for the people of the 193rd District.”
Wallen served eight years as district director for former Rep. Torren Ecker in the 193rd Legislative District, where she focused on assisting constituents, supporting local organizations and working with community leaders across the region.
She also owns and operates a family farm business in York Springs, providing firsthand insight into the day-to-day realities facing Pennsylvania’s small businesses.
