The PA Chamber’s mission – to advocate for job creation and lead Pennsylvania to greater prosperity for its residents – is powered by the engagement, insights, and support of our more than 13,000 members. Throughout 2025, we worked with our members and elected officials to deliver meaningful wins for employers. These wins are helping to attract historic investment and support family-sustaining jobs. And they demonstrate that, when businesses unite behind the PA Chamber’s advocacy, that advocacy grows stronger and drives real, meaningful progress toward a more competitive Pennsylvania. That’s the power of PA Chamber membership. A new page on our website highlights these achievements and underscores an important truth: the strength and continued support of our broad-based membership make this progress possible. We have been able to leverage the growing Statewide Voice of Business to drive significant policy reforms, like reducing the Corporate Net Income Tax rate and improving the treatment of Net Operating Loss deductions, and streamlining permitting processes to create a more responsive government. These policy achievements have translated into real economic outcomes, including: Nation-Leading Business Survival: New data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows Pennsylvania ranks among the top states for five-year new business survival. 56 percent of businesses started in Pennsylvania remain open after five years, the third-highest percentage nationwide compared to the national average of 51.6 percent. Long-Term Stability: Research from the Center for American Entrepreneurship confirms that businesses launched in Pennsylvania are more likely to endure, signaling long-term economic strength rather than short-term gains. National Recognition: Moody’s Analytics reports Pennsylvania is the only state in the Northeast with a growing economy. Site Selection Magazine ranked Pennsylvania 11th in its 2025 Business Climate Rankings, a seven-spot jump from the previous year. This improvement reflects our focus on pro-growth policies, permitting reform, site readiness, and increased investment. Transformative Investments: More than $100 billion in announced Pennsylvania energy projects and data centers. $1 billion investment by Johnson and Johnson into a new cell therapy manufacturing facility in Ambler. $3.5 billion commitment by Eli Lilly to build a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in the Lehigh Valley. These wins belong to our members. The PA Chamber exists because of the collective insights, expertise, and strength of our 13,000 members. By leveraging the Pennsylvania business community’s power to speak as a unified voice, the PA Chamber’s advocacy has saved businesses more than $33 billion, or $5,056 per employee. These are real results that strengthen businesses, communities, and families across the Commonwealth.
