Data centers, energy demand to headline PA Chamber Energy & Environmental Conference

Business leaders, policymakers, regulators, and energy and environmental professionals from across Pennsylvania will gather Oct. 28 for the PA Chamber’s Energy & Environmental Conference at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey.

The conference will focus on key issues shaping Pennsylvania’s energy supply, infrastructure, and economic competitiveness, including the growing demand associated with data centers.

Governor Shapiro’s Deputy Chief of Staff Sam Robinson, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Executive Deputy Secretary Ramez Ziadeh, and Pennsylvania Utility Commission Chairman Stephen DeFrank will headline a panel discussion of the governor’s executive order on data centers, its implementation, and its implications for businesses, energy demand, and infrastructure investment.

The program will also feature:

  • Financing the infrastructure needed to support Pennsylvania’s economic growth
  • Updates on local and national climate change litigation impacting employers
  • Maximizing Pennsylvania’s diverse energy resources to support future electricity demand and business expansion
  • Recent state and federal policy developments affecting the energy and environmental sectors

The conference will also provide networking and continuing education opportunities for attendees.

Register today to hear directly from policymakers, utility leaders, and legal experts on the issues shaping the state’s energy future.
