Upcoming Events: Self-Insurance, Policy Briefing with DEP and Aviation Innovation

The PA Chamber will be holding several virtual events in the upcoming weeks to help businesses navigate complex issues related to insurance and environmental regulations, as well as to highlight leadership in aviation and drone technology by our members.

For businesses with 20 or more employers, learn how to empower your business and take control of health care costs. Join PA Chamber Insurance in partnership with Benecon on Sept. 13 from 11 a.m. to noon for a free, no-commitment informational webinar to learn about money-saving solutions available through the PCI Benefits Consortium. The PCI Benefits Consortium is an increasingly popular alternative for small and mid-size companies with 20 or more enrolled employees to manage healthcare costs, increase cash flow advantages, provide risk protection, gain financial control and implement optional wellness initiatives. Register here.

On Tuesday, Sept. 21, PA Chamber members will convene virtually for the final DEP Quarterly of 2022, a members-only policy briefing with senior agency leadership. Acting Secretary Ramez Ziadeh will provide opening remarks, outlining the department’s priorities for the remainder of 2022. We will then be joined by senior agency staff for briefings on major air and water quality rulemakings slated to be finalized this fall – RACT III, which is an update to air quality rules for major sources of NOx, and new water quality standards for manganese, which will have an impact on many businesses with industrial point-source and stormwater permits. The event is being held thanks to our 2022 presenting sponsor GZA GeoEnviromental, Inc. and gold sponsor Eckert Seamans. Register today!

Finally, join us Sept. 22 at 10:45 a.m. for PA Chamber’s fourth Infrastructure Roundtable of 2022, which will highlight contributions and advancements in Pennsylvania’s aviation and air industry. Join us as we welcome expert panelists from the public and private sector for conversations on the latest developments in this critical transportation sector, on everything from advancements in innovation to how companies are leading on drones and air transport. Speakers include leaders from Gannett Fleming, the Allegheny County Airport, IMG Energy, CNX, and UPS.
