In case you missed it… Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry executives and individuals from PA Chamber member companies have been appointed to Governor-Elect Josh Shapiro and Lt. Gov-Elect Austin Davis’s Transition Advisory Committees, where they will advise the incoming Administration on key priorities including growing the economy, making our communities safer, and ensuring all Pennsylvanians receive a high-quality education. Among seven Transition Advisory Committees that were announced late last week, PA Chamber President and CEO Luke Bernstein and PA Chamber Vice President of Government Affairs Alex Halper were chosen as members of the Business Development and Workforce Development Committees, respectively. “The Pennsylvania Chamber is committed to working with the Shapiro-Davis Administration on setting Pennsylvania up for a bright economic future, and Alex and I are proud to kickstart that work by serving on these important Transition Advisory Committees,” Bernstein said. “I thank Gov.-Elect Shapiro and Lt. Gov-Elect Davis for appointing members of the business community to these key roles. We are eager to share ideas on how we can work together to make the Commonwealth more competitive and encourage private sector investment and job growth.” The PA Chamber wants to highlight and congratulate the following individuals from PA Chamber member companies who were named to various Shapiro-Davis Transition Advisory Committees: Business Development Committee Kevin Acklin, President of Business Operations, Pittsburgh Penguins Michael Keller, Executive Chairman and CEO, Cozen O’Connor Mark Campbell, Partner, Ridge Policy Group Economic Development Committee Committee Chair: Matt Smith, President, Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce Education/Workforce Committee Committee Chair: Patrick Gallagher, Chancellor, University of Pittsburgh Energy Committee John Hines, Corporate Relations Manager – Northeast Great Lakes Region, Shell Brian Aiello, Vice President – External Relations, CNX Resources Corp.
