ChamberPAC Endorses Lynda Schlegel Culver for 27th Senatorial District Special Election

The Special Election to fill the 27th Senatorial District seat that was recently vacated by former state Sen. John Gordner will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 31. Last week, ChamberPAC, the political arm of the PA Chamber, issued its endorsement of state Rep. Lynda Schlegel Culver, R-Northumberland, who has represented the area since she was first elected in 2010.

In an official endorsement press release, PA Chamber President and CEO Luke Bernstein praised Rep. Culver’s strong pro-business voting record as the reason why she would make a great addition to the state senate.

“For the more than 12 years she has served as a state representative, Lynda Schlegel Culver has demonstrated a deep commitment to supporting Pennsylvania businesses,” Bernstein said. “In fact, according to the Pennsylvania Chamber’s Legislative Scorecard, Rep. Culver had a 100 percent voting record in support of business priorities last session. ChamberPAC knows that Rep. Culver will continue her stellar track record of constituent service and pro-growth policy support in the state Senate. Voters in the 27th Senatorial District would be well served with Rep. Culver in the state Senate.”
