As 2024 begins, many professionals resolve to further their career in different ways. Whether you’re aiming to meet new colleagues or catch up with old ones, earn continuing education credits, learn about a hot topic in your field, or engage in a speaking opportunity before a dynamic business audience – the PA Chamber’s upcoming year of events has you covered!
For Government Affairs Gurus
Every new year begins with anticipation of the governor’s annual budget address, the PA Chamber’s response, and the Commonwealth’s fiscal outlook.
PA Chamber Investor members (the fastest-growing level of PA Chamber membership) can attend – both in-person or virtually – our Government Affairs Roundtable to watch Governor Shapiro deliver his 2023-24 state budget address and hear live commentary from the PA Chamber’s Government Affairs professionals. The next day, we will welcome key members of the Governor’s Cabinet at our Budget Briefing where they will break down what the proposed spending plan means for the Commonwealth’s business community and answer your questions.
Join us later in February for our always-popular Economic Forecast and Business Leadership Summit, co-hosted with the Pennsylvania Bankers Association, where you will learn about the current and future state of Pennsylvania’s and America’s economies.
And throughout the year, our Government Affairs Roundtables and DEP Quarterly meetings also keep Investor Members connected to key policymakers and updated on the legislative happenings that shape their respective industries.
For Learning, Earning Continuing Education Credits, and Speaking Opportunities
PA Chamber members always look forward to the insights and updates provided at our annual, high-quality educational conferences covering everything from the latest in IT and innovations to HR laws and sustainability.
Last fall, the PA Chamber welcomed members to our IT and Innovations Conference and our Energy and Environmental Conference, where experts presented on leading topics of the day – from autonomous innovation and robotic technology to the use of artificial intelligence in the workplace, how employers can stay up to date with the latest environmental policies, advance their efficiency operations, and more! We will be offering these events again this year in different regions of the Commonwealth, and are excited to welcome you for a full day of networking, learning, and earning education credits along the way.
If you are a professional with knowledge to impart on any of these in-demand subjects, reach out to our events team for opportunities to speak to a robust audience of business professionals at our upcoming conferences!
Signature Events with Maximum Appeal
The PA Chamber’s Signature Event series is bringing in maximum interest for 2024. This spring, the PA Chamber’s 4th Annual Women in Business Conference will welcome some of the Keystone State’s most inspirational female leaders for a day of hot topics surrounding women in the workforce, with advice on how women can harness their strengths to achieve their personal and professional goals.
In May, enjoy a day of outdoorsmanship in western Pennsylvania at the beautiful Highlands Sporting Clays at Seven Springs where we will welcome guests to our 3rd Annual Clay Shooting Event.
Our 21st Annual Golf Outing at the Hershey Country Club’s East and West Courses this summer will welcome more than 200 CEOs, business leaders, and elected officials for a great day of outdoor engagement.
Premium Entertainment …. And Even More Networking!
In December, the 39th Annual Chamber Dinner at the Hershey Lodge, titled “A Celebration of Pennsylvania,” lived up to its name! With Pennsylvania’s own Bradley Cooper as our keynote speaker; our first-ever event concert that welcomed western PA native, Country Music Star Gabby Barrett; and a dynamic conversation with House Speaker Joanna McClinton and Senate President Pro Tempore Kim Ward that highlighted the importance of working together toward a stronger Commonwealth, it was a star-studded night that our nearly 1,800 guests are still talking about! You can view a photo gallery of this incredible premier event here, and mark your calendars for the 40th Annual Chamber Dinner in October 2024.
