Investor Events Showcase Connection, Collaboration, and Commitment to Growth

This past week, PA Chamber members had the unique opportunity to engage directly with Pennsylvania’s top elected officials, gain critical insights into the state’s budget priorities, and strengthen relationships with fellow business leaders during a trio of impactful events.

On Tuesday, June 3, Investor Members attended the June Government Affairs Roundtable, which featured a keynote with Senate Majority Leader Joe Pittman, R-Indiana. With the high-volume budget season in full swing, Leader Pittman provided a timely update on legislative priorities and fiscal outlooks, offering members a front-row seat to the discussions shaping Pennsylvania’s economic future. The event also provided an opportunity for interactive discussion and other topics impacting the business community as session continues throughout the month of June.

Later that day, the events shifted to the Alexander Grass Center for Jewish Life in Harrisburg, where members of the President’s Roundtable—the highest tier of PA Chamber Investor Membership—participated in an exclusive conversation with Governor Josh Shapiro and select members of his Cabinet. The discussion centered on the administration’s efforts to drive economic growth this year and beyond, with opportunities to foster public-private partnerships and support for pro-growth initiatives in the legislature.

Capping off the day, the 2025 Investor Reception brought together Investor Members, bipartisan lawmakers, Cabinet officials, and state row officers for an evening of celebration and camaraderie on the beautiful grounds of the Grass Center. Traditionally held at the Governor’s Residence, this year’s event was relocated due to the unfortunate arson incidents around Passover. The alternative venue was beautiful but also held symbolic significance, representing resilience and unity as members from across Pennsylvania came together.

During the reception, PA Chamber President and CEO Luke Bernstein emphasized the importance of collaboration and highlighted key goals within the PA Chamber Foundation’s Keystone Initiative—our long-term blueprint for economic progress, with a focus on tax reform, permitting and regulatory modernization, and workforce development. Bernstein introduced Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis, who reaffirmed the Shapiro Administration’s commitment to growth and highlighted ongoing efforts to deliver results for Pennsylvanians.

We sincerely thank Highmark and Penn State Health, sponsors of the 2025 Investor Reception, for helping make the evening a resounding success.
